Voices Of Passion

Voices of Passion is a vocal sample library turned playable instrument, built around five female singers from Wales, Syria, India, Bulgaria and America. Produced by Nick Phoenix, it captures vowels, words, morphing vowels, effects, phrases, calls, whispers and breath noises, with true legato intervals for American and Welsh voices. The Middle Eastern and Indian phrases use a construction kit format so you can build long, consistent performances, while the mod wheel controls entry points on traditional phrases. Over 1000 cultural phrases and a Welsh phrase generator give plenty of expressive material. The sound ranges from ethereal and breathy to passionate, flowing, wailing and whispering. It suits film, TV and game composers, songwriters, ambient and new age artists who want evocative vocal textures without replacing a live singer. The OPUS engine makes loading and organising sounds fast and intuitive.
