Ample China Guqin is a deeply sampled virtual instrument that recreates the Shennong-style Guqin, a seven-string Chinese zither, with over 12 GB of classical tones. Performed by Ning Lu, it captures the instrument’s subtle resonance, expressive slides, and nuanced playing techniques. Every string has been individually sampled, and 17 articulations cover harmonics, glissandi, vibratos, and more. A custom 7-string Riffer gives you precise control over fingering, articulation, and phrasing, while a flexible tuning system adapts to any key. With five mic positions, three play modes, and a studio-grade FX suite, it’s ideal for film composers, world music producers, and anyone seeking a meditative, authentic Chinese texture in their tracks.
