Attack 3 is Waldorf’s percussion synthesizer, built for rhythm. It combines a virtual analogue synth engine with optional samples of classic 80s drum machines and 90s club beats. You can craft punchy kicks, melodic percussion, and unique sounds from scratch, thanks to refined oscillators with phase control, sample playback with velocity mapping and round-robin, and new 24 dB filters, comb filters, and drive types. Two multi-stage envelopes and two LFOs per sound offer deep modulation, all fully automatable in your DAW. Each kit holds 24 sounds, 12 playable polyphonically, with per-sound compressor, EQ, and effects, plus six output busses for studio-grade polish. The redesigned scalable UI and enhanced MIDI Learn make hands-on exploration easy.
