Sonic Atlas Expansion: Pancha Vadhyam Kit

Pancha Vadhyam Kit brings the five-instrument temple orchestra of Kerala to your DAW as a playable world percussion instrument. Recorded with twelve master temple musicians, it captures the interlocking rhythms of Thimila, Maddalam, Idakka, Ilathalam and Kombu — hand drums, shimmering cymbals and the singing, melodic tone of the Idakka. You get 265 loops and fills across multiple tempos, plus 1,056 one-shots with velocity layers and round robins, totaling 1,321 samples. Use the solo, duo or full-ensemble one-shot patches, or load individual instrument patches to build your own processional grooves. The ensemble naturally starts slow and climbs, making it ideal for cinematic builds, world fusion, ambient textures or adding organic percussion to electronic tracks. It suits hobby producers and composers looking for authentic South Indian percussion with real melodic character, whether you work in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic.
