Brightness Panner 2 by Sound Particles is a creative panning effect that turns a sound’s own character into movement. Instead of drawing automation curves, you let spectral brightness, pitch, or incoming MIDI notes drive where a signal sits in the stereo or 3D field. That means a synth melody can glide across the image as its notes rise and fall, or a vocal can shift position as its timbre changes. Pan Mode gives you ping-pong-style motion, while Sliding Mode creates continuous travel along a path. A sidechain input lets one track’s brightness steer another’s panning in real time. The plugin now includes independent paths per input channel, three visualization views (Circular, Polygon, Room), a built-in mixer for balancing outputs, a Virtual Center for keeping lead vocals centered, and custom speaker format definition. It supports mono through immersive multichannel formats. Ideal for electronic producers, sound designers, and mixers who want lively, responsive motion without automation.
