Lord of the Springs is a free procedural instrument built around 128 constantly active spring systems that are set in motion by key hits and modwheel scrubbing. Its metallic character suits glockenspiel, xylophone and marimba-style tones, but the same engine can produce soft, dreamy pads or harsh percussion. Because the sound is generated procedurally, resonances can spike when spring frequencies align, so a limiter is recommended. A unique pitchbend design only affects held keys, leaving sustained notes unaffected, with a relax value controlling the return to original pitch. The BODY section adds a single underlying spring that excites all others, creating a plate-reverb-like effect with its own tuning, decay, diffusion and sharpness, plus a stereo-capable phaser with tremolo that can sync to BPM or song position. A blendable SOLO mode extends the special-effects range. It is a Windows-only plugin aimed at hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who want unusual, metallic and evolving textures.
