Audio Damage Ratshack Reverb 3 recreates the Realistic Electronic Reverb, a compact hardware unit whose name disguises its actual purpose: analog delay. Rather than simulating room acoustics, this effect models the original unit’s bucket-brigade-style repeats and distinctive quirks. It suits hobby producers who want vintage delay character and controllable distortion for their tracks.
Adjusting the delay time changes the pitch of the delayed signal, reproducing the behavior of the hardware. The modeled mic and line inputs also let you explore different input responses, including the distortion produced when a line-level signal hits the mic input.
