Klevgrand Esspresso v1.2.0 is a de-esser for Windows that helps control sharp S sounds and other unwanted high-frequency peaks in recorded audio. It suits home producers, vocal editors and mix engineers who want to tame sibilance without relying on broad EQ cuts.
Esspresso lets you set the detector and suppression frequency ranges independently. This means the frequencies that trigger processing do not have to be the same ones being reduced, giving you more flexibility when treating a difficult vocal. A detector solo switch helps you hear what the plugin is responding to, while detector sensitivity gain adjusts its response.
Version 1.2 provides four suppressor modes—link, wide, shelf and band—alongside threshold, ratio, attack and release controls. The updated interface combines a frequency response display with a timeline view and visual RMS readouts for detection and reduction, making it easier to follow the processing as audio plays. Included presets offer starting points before you fine-tune the settings for your recording.
