BeatMaker – Retrox Drums v1.0 [FREE]

BeatMaker Retrox Drums v1.0 is a free drum ROMpler built around the character of 1980s drum machines. The included kit draws on the BOSS DR-110 Dr. Rhythm, giving hobby producers a focused set of vintage electronic percussion sounds for retro-inspired tracks, synth-pop, and beat-making projects.

Rather than synthesizing drum sounds from scratch, Retrox Drums uses a ROMpler approach, making it a straightforward choice when you want classic drum-machine tones ready to play. Pitch and amplitude-range controls let you adjust the sound, while a low-pass filter and reverb provide additional tone shaping and ambience. Multi-output support allows separate routing to your DAW mixer for further processing and balancing.

The initial version includes one free drum machine, with additional machines planned as paid expansions. The supplied platform listing identifies Windows and VST3, making FL Studio and Ableton Live relevant hosts with compatible plugin support. Although the product information also mentions Mac, AU, and 32/64-bit versions, check the available installer and format before downloading.
