Blue Cat’s FreqAnalyst Pro is a real-time spectrum analyzer for producers who want a clearer picture of their mixes and more creative control over effects. Analyze mono, stereo or mid/side signals with smooth, high-resolution displays, then compare instant, peak and average curves to spot frequency buildups or shifts in tonal balance. Four memory slots let you save curves for comparisons between tracks or processing choices. Switch to the spectrogram or 3D waterfall view to see how frequency content develops over time, with zoom and precise coordinate readouts for closer inspection. Beyond visual analysis, FreqAnalyst Pro generates automation or MIDI CC data from spectral measurements, letting you drive other effects from the incoming audio’s frequency characteristics.
