BFD Jazz Maple

BFD Jazz Maple is a drum expansion for BFD3 built around a carefully recorded Yamaha Maple Custom kit. Its two kicks and three toms deliver the warmth and lingering sustain associated with maple shells, making it a natural fit for jazz, fusion and funk productions. The expressive acoustic sound also suits other styles that call for characterful, realistic drums. Alongside the core kit, you get a bonus reduced-detail Yamaha Roy Haynes snare and Sabian cymbals recorded under similar studio conditions. Five Groove palettes from Platinum Samples’ Real Jazz MIDI collection provide rhythmic starting points, while presets by Marcas Lancaster and Joe Gore offer ready-made kit setups to explore. For hobby producers and songwriters who already use BFD3, this expansion adds a focused collection of warm drum sounds and jazz-oriented performance material.
