Guzheng

Wavesfactory Guzheng brings the distinctive voice of a 21-string Chinese plucked zither to Kontakt. Five articulations—finger, pick, stick, bow and E-Bow—cover mellow plucks, crisp attacks, percussive strikes and sustained, organ-like textures. It suits producers and composers looking for traditional Asian timbres, expressive melodic lines or unusual layers for ambient and cinematic tracks. Up to four round robins and four velocity layers add variation, while release-triggered tremolo and pitch-wheel control of the last played note support expressive phrasing and string bends. Blend articulations with individual mixer controls, then shape each channel with eight effect slots offering EQ, compression, modulation, saturation and reverb. Adjustable velocity response, dynamics and envelopes help tailor the instrument to your playing style. Requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
