Fazortan 2 by D16 Group is an analogue-modelled phaser plugin that brings swirling ’70s character to modern productions. Part of the SilverLine Collection, it models all-pass filters based on Operational Transconductance Amplifiers to recreate the movement and colour of a vintage hardware phaser. Use it to give synth pads a drifting, spacious feel, animate sustained chords, or push electronic textures into more pronounced, bubbling sweeps. Two independently adjustable LFOs offer waveform, rate and depth controls, with sine, triangle, hyper-triangle and random shapes available for varied modulation. Combining both LFOs opens up movement beyond a simple repeating sweep. Adjustable all-pass stages shape the peaks and dips in the sound, while feedback takes the effect from gentle coloration to sharper, more intense phasing. It suits producers who want retro synth atmosphere with detailed control over the modulation.
