Helios

Helios by Loot Audio is a Kontakt instrument for evolving textures, rhythmic pulses and atmospheric soundscapes. Blend two sound sources with slow modulation for gradual movement, or switch between them rhythmically to build animated patterns. Each channel offers 11 individual sequencers for shaping effects at independent speeds, while additional sequencers handle master effects. Adjust step counts, direction, offset and more to create anything from steady motion to unpredictable variations. A collection of 60 custom impulse responses adds further tonal character, and sequencer presets, randomisation and copy/paste tools help speed up experimentation. With 5GB of soundscape material and 114 ready-made snapshots, Helios gives hobby producers and adventurous sound designers plenty of starting points for ambient tracks, cinematic backgrounds and electronic arrangements that need depth and movement.
