K7D – Tape Delay

K7D by Imaginando is a tape delay plugin that pairs vintage echo character with flexible modern controls. Its dual playheads cover delay times from 1 ms to one second, while modeled tape distortion, noise and mechanical vibration add texture and movement. Preamp saturation brings extra grit to drums, synths and vocals, making it useful for anything from short, thickening echoes to spacious rhythmic repeats. Switch between Normal and Ping Pong modes, adjust stereo width, and shape the feedback with high-pass and low-pass filters. For more adventurous sound design, modulate delay time with a multi-waveform LFO or incoming MIDI notes, and invert the second playhead’s LFO phase for added stereo movement. BPM sync, waveform visualization and 50 factory presets help hobby producers get started quickly while leaving plenty of room to experiment.
