The Clap V2

The Clap V2 is a Kontakt instrument built for producers who want authentic, human-sounding handclaps without stacking endless samples. Recorded at Paper Stone Studios in Nottingham, England, it captures close, stereo and room microphone positions for a naturally wide, roomy character. The standout feature lets you choose exactly how many people are clapping, scaling from a single clapper up to a full group of thirteen, so you can dial in anything from a lone, intimate clap to a big, layered ensemble. Three variants, Loose, Natural and Tight, give you timing and feel options, while five round robins and four velocity layers keep repeated hits sounding alive. A reworked machine clap section adds on/off control per layer. It suits hip-hop, pop, house and lo-fi producers who need realistic claps fast. Requires the full version of Kontakt.
