PSI Snare is a deeply sampled Kontakt instrument built around a single high-quality snare drum, capturing the many tones and effects it can produce rather than a shallow selection of different drums. It delivers 35 playing styles and tunings—including muted and open snares, rim shots, rim clicks, flams, brushes, hot rods, hands and buzzes—with up to 56 velocity layers across five mic positions: close, bottom, tube, overhead and room. With over 5,500 samples, it offers solid dynamic response and flexible shaping controls that work in global or local mode.
