Atlas Flutes is a Kontakt Player instrument built for composers who want world woodwinds with a percussive, textural edge. Created with film composer Christoph Zirngibl, it offers alto and bass flutes, kaval, West African flute, quenacho and pan pipes, each featuring marcato, staccato, staccatissimo, swells, sforzandos, plus jet tones and flutters on select instruments. A unique Performance Mode maps all short articulations to one keyboard, with swells tempo-synced to your host for quick ostinatos. The included Kaval and Bass Flute textures range from acoustic improvisations to hybrid soundscapes, morphable via an X-Y pad for dark, haunting or airy results. Ideal for film, game and media composers seeking cinematic, ethnic woodwind colors and tight rhythmic patterns, it works in any DAW via the free Kontakt Player.
