Octave Cat

Cherry Audio’s Octave Cat recreates the legendary CAT duophonic synthesizer from 1976, developed with its original designer. This plugin delivers the same fat, savage growl and aggressive resonant filter that made the hardware a cult classic, plus flexible modulation, screaming audio-range cross-mod, and fierce oscillator sync. Beyond the vintage core, it adds expanded polyphony, a robust effects suite, and a versatile dual-step sequencer for modern production. Use it for searing leads, gritty basses, and experimental textures that cut through any mix. It suits hobby producers and retro enthusiasts in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want authentic analog attitude with contemporary convenience. Whether you’re into Devo-style new wave, Prodigy-style rave, or Chemical Brothers-style big beat, Octave Cat brings ferocious character to your tracks.
