UAD Lion ’68 Super Lead Amp

The UAD Lion ’68 Super Lead Amp plug-in delivers the authentic tones of three legendary 100-watt plexi amplifiers inside your DAW. Modeled after the award-winning UAFX pedal, it captures the bell-like cleans, aggressive breakup, and soaring distortion that defined classic rock. Choose from Super Lead for iconic kerrang, Super Bass for spongier attack and more headroom, or Brown for hot-rodded Van Halen-style sizzle. You also get classic boost effects, including emulations of a Maestro EP-III preamp and Boss GE-10 EQ, plus six perfectly miked speaker cabinet setups with dynamic room sounds. Whether you’re after Hendrix-style cleans, AC/DC crunch, or Led Zeppelin roar, this plug-in puts inspiring plexi tone at your fingertips. Ideal for rock, blues, and classic metal producers seeking authentic vintage amp feel without the hardware.
