Analog Obsession FetCB is a free FET compressor and limiter inspired by British hardware from the 1970s. Designed for producers who want characterful dynamics control, it offers a flexible way to shape levels across a variety of sound sources. It suits hobby producers working in compatible Windows hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.
Rather than using input gain to drive compression against a fixed threshold, FetCB provides a dedicated threshold control ranging from +10 dB to -30 dB. Attack times span 20 microseconds to 200 milliseconds, while release runs from 25 to 500 milliseconds. The ratio adjusts from 1:1 to 20:1, covering lighter compression through stronger limiting settings.
Mix and output controls let you balance the processed signal and set its final level. An external sidechain input supports compression triggered by another signal. Clicking the Analog Obsession logo enables 4x oversampling, with a red logo indicating that it is active.
The interface scales from 50% to 200% for different screen setups. On Windows, FetCB supports VST3 and AAX on Windows 10–11 and requires graphics hardware with OpenGL support.
