BFD Decatom

BFD Decatom adds a distinctive set of tuned percussion to BFD3, built around 10 DDrum Deccabons. Each drum has a 6-inch head, while shell depths range from 6 to 24 inches, creating a pitched tom collection spanning roughly an octave. Stick and mallet performances offer different textures for percussion parts that move beyond a conventional drum kit. Use it for unusual melodic phrases, rhythmic basslines, alternative tom fills or atmospheric soundtrack passages. Within BFD, tuning controls let you arrange the drums chromatically, while dynamics and effects processing provide further ways to reshape their character. Recorded under studio conditions similar to BFD Jazz & Funk, BFD Percussion and BFD3’s Mapleworks kits, this expansion suits producers and composers seeking an expressive, unconventional addition to their BFD3 setup.
