Cassette Plucks.01 for Ableton

Cassette Plucks.01 for Ableton by THEPHONOLOOP brings cassette-worn character to two sampled pluck instruments. Built from physical modelling, subtractive synthesis and sampling, its sounds combine an Eastern-inspired flavour with organic imperfections and vintage texture. Each instrument spans five octaves with four dynamic layers, captured through two different cassette decks. The 24-bit WAV library gives you expressive material for lo-fi melodies, atmospheric hooks and offbeat arrangements. Carefully denoised notes help keep chords from accumulating excessive hiss, while a separate noise control lets you blend tape texture back in to taste. The Ableton edition includes 46 Instrument Racks—eight basic racks and 38 additional presets—with mapped macros, plus custom Effect Racks for further shaping. It suits producers who want characterful plucks and room to explore stranger textures. Requires the full version of Ableton Live 9.7 or later.
