Concert Zither v2

Concert Zither v2 by Cinematique Instruments captures the rare, mellow character of an alpine zither. This virtual instrument delivers the authentic sound of 36 strings—5 fretted melody, 14 accompaniment, 11 bass, and 6 contrabass—recorded with both finger and plectrum articulations, plus muted, reverse, and bowed variations. Two microphone perspectives (condenser and dynamic) and up to four dynamic layers with round robin samples provide expressive realism. Five main patches and four FX patches (glissando, rotary, drive, octaver) let you shape everything from delicate plucks to gritty textures. An arpeggiator and step sequencer open up rhythmic possibilities. Ideal for film scoring, folk-inspired tracks, or any production needing unique, organic string sounds. The updated 2.0 version consolidates all patches into one interface with a fresh design and added features. Perfect for producers seeking distinctive, cinematic textures.
