Demonic Virtuoso

Demonic Virtuoso by Wavesfactory brings the distinctive plucked sound of a harpsichord to Kontakt, suited to Baroque arrangements, cinematic cues and contemporary tracks needing an unusual keyboard texture. Every note is individually sampled without pitch shifting, with four round-robin variations and time-based release samples to capture the instrument’s character. Three microphone perspectives let you blend close detail with room ambience, while separate mixer controls handle panning, stereo width and output routing. Shape each channel with EQ, compression, modulation, saturation, amp simulation or algorithmic and convolution reverb. Adjustable release levels, sample start, velocity response and optional velocity-controlled dynamics offer further flexibility. It suits composers and producers looking for a traditional keyboard sound with room for creative processing. Requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
