MODO DRUM Kit – Jazzy

The MODO DRUM Jazzy kit from IK Multimedia is a physically modeled drum instrument built around a vintage Rogers four-piece kit — the same one used by the Ramones. Its 100% mahogany shells, manufactured heads and pre-muffled bass drum heads deliver a bright, balanced tone that suits bebop, subtle dynamic jazz and any style played at lower volumes. Unlike sample-only drum software, MODO combines modal synthesis with advanced sampling to capture the kit’s materials, tuning and dimensions, giving you deep control over drum tuning, snare tension and stick type. You can even direct the virtual drummer’s playing style. The result is spectacular realism and flexibility for jazz purists and producers who want an expressive, natural-sounding kit in their mixes.
