MODO DRUM Kit – Reference

MODO DRUM Kit – Reference is a virtual drum instrument from IK Multimedia that recreates the legendary Pearl kit played by Omar Hakim, an 8-piece setup with mahogany and maple shells. Built on MODO DRUM’s hybrid of modal synthesis and advanced sampling, it delivers the natural, punchy tone heard on countless pop, rock and funk records. Unlike sample-only libraries, you get deep control: tune each drum, adjust snare tension, swap stick types, and direct the virtual drummer’s performance. This makes it ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton or Logic who want realistic, mix-ready drums with the flexibility to shape them to any track. Whether you’re crafting mainstream pop, classic rock or dance-influenced grooves, the Reference kit offers spectacular realism and endless creative freedom.
