J60 is a six-voice analog-style synthesizer plugin that recreates the sound of an early 1980s hardware synth by modeling its actual circuitry rather than using samples. It runs as a VST3 instrument on Windows, with oscillators, filter, VCA and envelope calculated in real time. You get saw, pulse with PWM, sub oscillator and noise, a high-pass filter, resonant low-pass filter and one envelope, plus an arpeggiator with up, down and up/down modes over one to three octaves. The chorus section models bucket-brigade delay lines, including the earlier slower version. There are 253 presets across both factory banks, manual examples and 98 original patches in 11 categories, plus optional preset packs. Unison puts all six voices on one note, and tape save/load is included. Eco, Normal and High quality modes let you manage CPU while working, with exports always rendering in High. It suits hobby producers making synthwave, pop, electronic and retro-style music who want authentic circuit-level behavior and hands-on tweakability.
