SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor

The SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor is a UAD Native plug-in that brings the legendary British bus compressor sound to your mix bus without needing Apollo hardware. Modeled from the original console and rack units, it delivers the famous SSL “glue” — punchy, transparent dynamics that make mixes sound cohesive and powerful. With fixed attack and release, program-dependent auto release, and a continuous threshold, you can go from subtle 2-bus glue to aggressive peak limiting. The sidechain filter reduces low-end pumping, while the mix control enables quick parallel compression on drums or vocals. A headroom control adjusts operating level, and the auto fade offers the classic SSL fade taper. Ideal for hobby producers and engineers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want professional polish and that iconic SSL character on their mixes.
