Tales

Tales is a unique sampled instrument built around a rare classical nylon-strung concert guitar, recorded using only open strings in a special open tuning. The result is a warm, intimate tone with long natural sustain that feels almost piano-like to play. You get four expressive articulations — soft, hard, mute and harmonics — plus over 60 crafted textures spanning fantasy, sci-fi, drama and big emotions. Designed as a modern composer tool for storytelling, Tales lets you blend its astonishingly articulated guitar sounds with atmospheric textures, making musical narrative intuitive and fun. It suits hobby producers and composers working on cinematic, ambient, or singer-songwriter projects who want an evocative, ready-to-play instrument. Runs in Steinberg HALion.
