Frame Drums

AudioThing Frame Drums is a sampled percussion instrument for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt, built around two bodhráns and two tambourines. An 18-inch bodhrán and an 8-inch tambourine sit alongside smaller toy and souvenir versions, giving you a mix of traditional frame drums and compact alternatives. Recorded with sticks, hands and varied playing gestures, the collection suits folk-inspired arrangements, acoustic productions and beats that need an organic percussion layer. Its 19 Kontakt instruments draw on 160 samples recorded at 48kHz/24-bit, with up to eight round robins and three velocity layers to add variation to repeated hits and changes in playing intensity. With Kontakt and WAV formats included, Frame Drums suits producers who want a focused acoustic drum collection. The library occupies 178 MB and requires the full Kontakt engine for its instrument patches.
